Looked After Children (LAC) identified with SEND routinely receive high quality teaching and support.
Where appropriate, further targeted support from other skilled and experienced members of staff is provided.
The curriculum is appropriately differentiated/personalised in order to meet the young person’s individual learning needs. Any additional provision put in place to target specific needs is carefully monitored and demonstrates impact on learning/wider outcomes.
Any alternative provision is planned as part of a PEP review. The school works in close partnership with Worcestershire’s Virtual School and Alternative Providers to ensure that provision is regularly reviewed, good progress is made by LAC and appropriate next steps are identified.
