How might the support be managed?
There are a range of ways of delivering support. Informal pastoral support meetings with a record of conversation might be all that is required. Behaviour plans, pastoral support plans, reward charts, and trackers can all be personalised to meet a child’s needs. School will work closely with parents and carers if a child is at risk of exclusion- working together on agreed targets. Thrive individual or group action plans will be generated following initial assessments. Thrive interventions and home action plans can also be produced for parents and carers.
If a referral to the Early Help team is requested the school will complete the appropriate forms with parents and if accepted there will be a Team Around the Child set up plan and action the support required.
